A 'BRILLIANT celebration' of Salisbury's creative talent has come to a park in the city.
Wiltshire Creative has begun presenting its rendition of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest at Churchill Gardens.
Opening night was Wednesday, May 24 and the show will go on until Sunday, June 4.
The outdoor production, directed by Gareth Machin, forms the centrepiece of this year's Salisbury International Arts Festival.
Gareth said: “It's a huge privilege to be working with such a fantastic company of actors on this incredible play. With many of the actors based locally or former members of our youth theatre, Stage '65, it's a brilliant celebration of the creative talent in our city and region."
It uses a set decorated with graffiti art by young people at The Friary over the course of three weekends during workshops led by artist Kezia Hoffman.

The Tempest is a continuation of recent multi-art form projects involving collaboration between professionals and the community such as Congress, Stone Songs, Earth Rise and Bath Philharmonia concert.
Tickets to The Tempest and other productions running during the Salisbury International Arts Festival can be purchased on the festival’s website or by calling the box office at 01722 320 333.
