A CHOIR is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special concert.
The Sarum Consort will perform at The Queen of Heaven event from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 27, in the historic St Thomas' Church.
The 30-year milestone celebration marks the ensemble's triumphant return to Salisbury after the Covid pandemic.
Directed by Alastair Carey, the concert will feature a selection of unaccompanied Marian choral music, including Bax, I Sing of a Maiden, Howells, Salve Regina, Lassus, Magnificat septimi toni and Sheppard, Gaude, gaude, gaude Maria.

A spokesperson for the choir said: "These exquisite pieces promise to transport the audience to a celestial realm, as the Sarum Consort weaves together ancient texts and mesmerizing harmonies.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £12 for concessions and £5 for students and teenagers.
