GOOD times were had by all as the sun shone at an event to promote greater community cohesion.
People in the Park returned to Queen Elizabeth Gardens on Saturday, May 20 and saw a range of stalls, displays and showcases.
The day was organised by Salisbury Transition City (STC) and was an opportunity for the community of Salisbury to learn from each other, exchange ideas and generate plans for working together – to help create a more ethical, just and sustainable future for Salisbury.
The event was powered by a solar array and technology that drew power from electric car batteries provided by All the Kit.
A mix of community group stallholders, performers, environmentally-friendly businesses, live musicians and speakers celebrated the great things happening Salisbury across two stages.
The youth stage, sponsored by the Hendy Group, also showcased young talent.
Also sponsoring the event were Mothership and Salisbury City Council.
