THE three-hour closure of the train line last night was due to an "incident regarding a concern for the welfare of a man in his 30s".
At around 6.30pm, police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Churchill Way North in Salisbury.
The train line was closed for more than three hours as a result of the incident, as well as the A36 between Castle Street roundabout and St Mark's Roundabout.
The lines reopened at around 10.43pm, and the incident was safely resolved.
