Dozens of roads across Wiltshire are set to close this bank holiday weekend for Coronation events.
In total 39 roads will close at different points across the weekend, as royal enthusiasts celebrate the first Coronation in nearly 70 years, and motorists will be forced to seek alternative routes.
The majority of road closures will take place on Sunday, May 7, when 27 roads across the county will be shut to vehicles.
There are also six scheduled road closures on Saturday, May 6, the day of the Coronation, and a further six on Monday, May 8.
All royal celebrations which require a public highway to shut need to have been applied for eight weeks in advance and approved by Wiltshire Council.
Event organisers are responsible for providing adequate signage warning of a road closure and providing details of any diversion route.
Revellers have been reminded to always allow access for emergency vehicles, not to park in front of fire hydrants and to allow access for vehicles turning out if their event is near a fire station.
