MEET Chester and Queenie, the Dogs Trust's dogs of the month who need rehoming in Salisbury.
Three-year-old "cheeky" Chester loves to play both on his own with his toys or with his "people pals".
He is an independent crossbreed who would be happy in an adult-only home that has a suitable and safe outside kennel or outbuilding space that he could call his own.
However, with time, he could gradually be transitioned into a home.
Chester's new owners will need to be patient to get to know him at a pace he's happy with.
He's a bit worried by other dogs and wears a muzzle when out on walks, so this is something for his owners to be aware of.
Adorable Queenie loves meeting new people and her favourite thing to do is snuggle up with her favourite humans.
She is a nine-year-old Border Collie Cross who would prefer to have all the attention to herself in her new home.
Queenie would love to have a secure garden which she can enjoy and ideally live in a quiet area away from roads and neighbouring dogs.
She's uncomfortable around other dogs, as well as traffic, and has been trained to walk with a muzzle - her new owners will need to be happy continuing this.
Described as "a gentle girl with a sensitive side", Queenie would like to get to know her new adopters over time.
Potential owners should be willing to visit her at the centre several times before taking her home for good.
