THE BIGGEST wine and spirit tasting event will be held in May.
The Artisan Wine and Spirits Co in Winchester Street has arranged two taster sessions with almost 200 drinks available for guests to try.

Owner of the company, Elizabeth Coombes said: "Last time, we arranged this event, it was great, and there was a lot of mingling. We had about 250 people. This time, we are aiming to have about 200 people at each of the sessions which will be better.”
There will be approximately 20 suppliers and tables presented across the ground floor of Salisbury Guildhall and plenty of opportunity for guests to try new wines or spirits and to discuss the selections with the suppliers.

Elizabeth said: “We are real rum and gin specialists and there will be whiskies, vermouth and possibly, tequila. People can order any wine or spirits during the event and they will get a greater discount.”
Guests can have an open order and add to it as they try the different drinks. They will then collect from the Artisan Wine and Spirits in Winchester Street the following week.
The wine and spirit tasting event takes place on Friday, May 19 and there are two sessions available.
The first event takes place between 3-5pm and the second event is at 6-9pm.
