During a review of the Salisbury Journal archives this week, photos documenting everyday street scenes in March 1973 were found.
Multiple high street shops from bygone eras can be seen, including Hepworths Hand Cut Tailoring, Granada TV Rental, Sperrings and John Collier can be seen, as well as a view of Bishops Mill from Fisherton Bridge, with no footbridge to walk across to reach the other side.
