The team behind Channel 4’s Junior Bake Off is searching for Wiltshire’s budding bakers, with applications to appear on the show now open.
Applications for the ninth season of the popular show, which is hosted by Harry Hill and showcases the baking ability of the younger generation, are open until Sunday, March 12.
An assistant casting producer for Love Productions, who produce both Junior Bake Off and The Great British Bake Off, revealed they are looking for bakers from Wiltshire.
He said: “We are excited and delighted to announce that applications are now open for the ninth series of Junior Bake Off, a Channel 4 programme that celebrates the culinary talent and ambition of the younger generation.
“It would also be great to find some local talented young bakers in Wiltshire as it would be amazing to have Wiltshire represented in the tent.”
Anybody hoping to appear in the famous tent can do so by applying here by 8.59pm on Sunday.
To apply bakers must be aged between 9 and 12 years old and have permission from a parent or guardian.
Filming for the series will take place from July 2023, when successful applicants will battle it out to be crowned star baker.
