SIX men received fines for boarding trains without buying a ticket.
Jordan Holbert, 25, of Wilton Road, was ordered to pay £477 after he "entered a train for the purpose of travelling without having a valid ticket" at Salisbury Railway Station on July 16, 2022.
This is contrary to bye-law 18(1) and 24 of the Railway Byelaws made under Section 219 of the Transport Act 2000.

Three other men were caught on August 3 and had to pay £478.90 for boarding without a ticket.
Charley Casey, 21, of Cavell Place in Southampton, Lukas Herrmann, 24, of Wilton Avenue in Southampton, and Liam Chamberlain, 26, of Bindon Close in Poole.
They were all fined £220 and ordered to pay £10.90 compensation, a surcharge to fund victim services of £88, as well as costs of £160, by East Hampshire Magistrates' Court.

Milton Boyd, 39, of Dean House in West Dean, had to pay £487.20 after he travelled on a South Western Railway train "with intent to avoid payment" of the £19.20 fare on October 4.
Pref Rai, 19, of Cocks Close in Larkhill, was ordered to pay £108 after being caught boarding a train in Andover without a valid ticket on May 18.
