FIREFIGHTERS were called to retail premises in the city centre at 12.13 pm today (Tuesday, February 14) following reports of smoke.

Two crews from Salisbury and one from Wilton responded and firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check the area but no fire was found.
No firefighting action was needed at the scene as the smoke was found to have been caused by a contractor cutting concrete.
The firefighters stopped at 12.34 pm.
