City council leader, Cllr Victoria Charleston said: “The commitment shown by the team at Salisbury CCTV has been fantastic and I’d like to thank everyone who has manned the system over the years and contributed to Salisbury’s security and public safety.”
Salisbury BID Director and Old George Mall Manager Arnold Catterall said: “Salisbury’s CCTV is a vital component in the city’s effort to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour and it is very positive to hear that the operating hours have increased in 2022.
“CCTV compliments the other business crime reduction initiatives such as City radio, the BID Ranger and general intelligence sharing platforms that Salisbury BID manages and supports.”
