THE former Wilding restaurant in the city centre has been taken over - and will soon reopen its doors.
Branding for the Immersive Group, which already has several other establishments in Salisbury, has appeared on the windows of 19-21 High Street over the last few days.
Wilding closed in November last year after just 15 months of trading.
Its founder Kent Barker told the Journal he "didn't get it right" in the city, adding: "Footfall is why we struggled. There's tonnes of footfall in Salisbury but it wasn't relevant to what we did and the way we did it."

The Immersive Group is described as a collection of brands "with the common mission to provide immersive, engaging and visceral experiences for all".
It includes Tinga, the Mexican restaurant on Salt Lane, Caboose on South Western Road, Deacons on Fisherton Street, and the seasonal Salisbury City Gardens and Frost bars.
One of the group's directors Dave Hancock confirmed the takeover of the premises to the Journal, and said more details, such as what will be opening and when we can expect the doors to reopen, will be revealed soon.
