Speaking in Winchester Crown Court today, Miss Fontete said she woke up at 7am on Sunday February 20 to ten missed calls and five voicemails.
"My heart sank and I knew instantly that something happened", she said.
Emma says Freddie had three heart attacks. "My beautiful brother never woke up after that".

From the witness stand, and fighting back tears, Emma bravely and eloquently spoke of the loss she feels because of her brother's death.
Emma said: ""Pool hasnt said why he killed my brother. Pool killed my brother that night and ran away. He ran away and he went to the shop as if nothing had happened and I cannot believe my life right now".
"Pool destroyed and dismantled my family".
"Freddie was killed by a cowardly act. Freddie was my best friend, a gift I would thank God for. He was my protector. There is nothing I can say that can make this court fathom the darkness in my heart".
"I had no warning and no time to say goodbye, No time to hug him, no time to tell him how much I loved him, how much I cared, how special he was. Pool's reckless decision to pry Freddie was his siblings.
"Our youngest sibling is four years old and she is the victim of a vicious and heinous crime. Every time she asks where Freddie is my heart shatters into a million pieces and she doesn't deserve to be in this position."
"I don't want to live in this world anymore, where someone gets called to help their friends and gets killed. I am living through my worst nightmare".
"Pool robbed us of our brother and my mother's son. She had to watch as her son was lowered into the ground".
"The people in his life were more precious to him than anything in the world", says Emma.
Emma says 500 people attended Freddie's funeral at Salisbury Cathedral. "500 people thought he was a remarkable person who had made an impact
"He did not deserve to die.
"Pool destroyed our family, took away our smiles and laughter and replaced them with tears and grief.
"I have no peace in this life because of what Pool has done.
"I love you Freddie, more than you'll ever know, and I am sorry this has happened to you. Please rest and now no-one can hurt you anymore. Sleep well my best friend, you are never forgotten."
Statement from Freddie's mother, from November 1: "He was my baby boy, my son and my best friend, my companion and my partner in crime who was always by my side. I am totally heartbroken by losing him. I miss him every second of every day. My boy is now missing from my life".
