Here are some of the public notices that have been filed in and around Salisbury this week.

Planning inquiry

At Marlborough Room, Red Lion Hotel, 4 Milford St, Salisbury SP1 2AN Opening on February 21 at 10am with the facility to participate virtually

Reason: Appeal by Tisbury Community Homes relating to the application to Wiltshire Council for Outline planning application for redevelopment of the Station Works site to provide a mixed development of up to 86 dwellings, a care home of up to 40 bedspaces with associated medical facilities, new pedestrian and vehicular access and traffic management works, a safeguarded area for any future rail improvements, and areas of public open space at Land at Station Works, Station Road, Tisbury.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal. Members of the public may attend the inquiry and, at the Inspector’s discretion, express their views. Application for a premises licence

Wiltshire Council wants a license for an outdoor play, along with live and recorded music and the supply of alcohol in Churchill Gardens. 

It would be in force from Wednesday, May 24, to Sunday, June 4, between the hours of 1pm on some days to 9.30pm. 

The park will remain open to the public throughout.

Road closures

Wiltshire Council intends to close temporarily to all traffic Princes Hill (Part), Redlynch; from outside property known as Ridgeway, Redlynch to outside property known as Sarum Cottage, Redlynch to enable SGN to carry out installation and connection of new gas main and associated works.

Alternative route via Quavey Road – Church Hill – C327 – B3080 – C44 – Princes Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on February 27 and the closure will be required between the hours of 8am and 4pm until March 3.
