MOTORISTS are facing "very heavy delays" on the A31 this morning due to a broken down lorry.
There are reports of up to 45-minute hold ups on the eastbound carriageway across the New Forest.
One lane of the road is blocked heading towards the M27 due to the broken down HGV in the area of Stoney Cross.

National Highways has reported that there are approximately five miles of congestion due to the incident.
The #A31 eastbound between the #A338 (#Ringwood) and #M27 J1, lane 1 (of 2) is closed due to a broken down HGV.
