THE International Pancake Race will return this year thanks to public pressure, St Thomas's Salisbury has announced.
The event, run in conjunction with Salisbury Foodbank, aims to bring attention to local poverty, homelessness, and social exclusion.
This year the race is set to take place on the High Street at 11am on Tuesday, February 21.
In the event of bad weather, it will be held in the Cathedral Cloisters.
St Thomas’s said it has already received interest from multiple organisations “but those wanting to get in training to hone their ‘flippin’ skills should reserve their place in the competition without delay.”
Organisers said there will be a "sumptuous prize" for the winner, plus the "unparalleled prestige" of winning the Golden Frying Pan.
