Business has "skyrocketed" for the Five Bells pub as it sees some of its best trading days this winter since it reopened.
TV personality Max Halley's pub, at 28 Salt Lane, had two record-breaking days in December.
This came just over one year since it reopened on November 1, 2021.
Destiny Reynolds, from the Five Bells, described the spike in footfall as "surprising to say the least", adding: "It's January, people are trying to go sober so it's quite surprising that we're still managing to have the same sort of footfall as normal.
"In December business skyrocketed."
The pub has been attracting a "better client base" and Destiny attributes this to the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created through good hospitality.
"We have a younger crowd these days," added Destiny.
The Five Bells runs quiz nights which Destiny says are "absolutely packed".

In the lead-up to the pub's opening, Max frequently voiced his plans to install a speedboat in the pub garden so that punters could "have a pint sitting in the speedboat".
This has proved "quite the attraction", according to Destiny.
