FLOODS across the city have been captured by Journal camera club photographers.

Watermeadows and parks in Salisbury have seen lots of activity so far in January following a large amount of rainfall.

Flooding is expected in the Ebble Valley including Berwick St John, Ebbesbourne Wake, Bowerchalke, Broad Chalke, Stoke Farthing, Bishopstone, Stratford Tony, Coombe Bissett, Homington, Odstock, Nunton.

More than 140 flood warnings have also been issued across Britain by environment regulators.

Queen Elizabeth Gardens and part of the Harnham Cricket Pitch have flooded after the River Avon burst its banks.

Floods have also been causing disruption for drivers in and around the city.

The A338 Salisbury Road at Burgate was closed today (January 10) due to "severe flooding".
