POLICE have released an update on the serious medical incident at Center Parcs.
Officers and South Western Ambulance Service paramedics responded to 999 calls from the Longleat Forest resort earlier today.
The health emergency was initially described as a "serious medical incident involving a child".
At 3.30pm, Wiltshire Police provided more information on what had happened.
A spokesman said: "Sadly, it’s been confirmed that a four-year-old boy has died following an incident at Center Parcs Longleat Forest near Warminster shortly after 11am this morning, December 24.
"This is not being treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with the boy’s family at this difficult time."
