SALISBURY Chamber's Business Excellence Awards are back for another year.

The awards, which returned last year after a nine-year break, are open to Salisbury Chamber of Commerce and Salisbury BID members.

If you are not a member of the Chamber or BID, then you will need to register as a member before submitting your request to be considered in the awards. 

The award categories for 2023 are: 

  • Start up Business of the Year Award – The Start-Up Business Award is open to any member who has been trading for at least two years and under five and can demonstrate success and sustainability.
  • Innovation Award – The Innovation award recognizes any member providing new technology, product, or service that has been shown to demonstrably reduce costs, increase productivity, improve product quality or in some other way provide a bottom-line benefit that is innovative.
  • Green Business Award – The Green business award goes to the business that can demonstrate how it delivers the most sustainable product in the most sustainable way.
  • Charity Award – The Charity Award is open to any charitable organisation who can demonstrate how their business has provided a long service of support in the community and continues to do so.
  • Service Excellence Award – The Service Excellence award is open to is open to any member that go above and beyond for their employees, suppliers and customers supporting their development, promoting high standards and providing a happy and healthy work and shopping experience.
  • Tourism Award – The Tourism Award goes to any business that can demonstrate its ability to provide a first class experience for visitors, excellent feedback, excellent business results and a high return rate.
  • Business of the Year Award 2023 – The Business of the Year Award is open to any member who can demonstrate an established market position, excellent growth, expansion plans and resilience as well as effective leadership, innovation, an ethical approach to business and strong results.

The awards were launched last night at Ten Building at the Old Fire Station on Salt Lane.

The awards night will take place on March 31 at Salisbury Racecourse.
