THE mayor of Salisbury visited the newly refurbished Cedars Care Home in Landford to celebrate its refurbishment.
The home’s residential care facilities have been renovated with new flooring, furniture and décor using money invested by owner Barchester Healthcare.
Twenty-one bedrooms have also been fully refurbished, including new en-suite bathrooms.
The home opened its doors for a celebration on November 16 which was attended by the mayor, cllr Tom Corbin, and other community leaders.
Cedars general manager Sam Humphries said: “The event was an enormous success with lots of our local community coming in to celebrate with us. We thank the mayor for supporting our celebrations; it’s always great to see him. The home is looking better than ever after the recent investment.
"The new appearance of the home has been carefully considered down to the little details and has been designed with the residents in mind. The bright new reception area has given the home a fresh and elegant feel. The lounge areas are simply stunning, and ideal.”
