A NEW café is set to open its doors this week and joins an established array of cafes overlooking the Salisbury city marketplace.
Coffee1 is growing and opens 12 new stores a year.
The Salisbury store will be number 106.
Area manager for Coffee1, Dan Marlow said: “We are super excited to be here. We have been looking at various sites for a long time and have finally found the right one.
“The café is across two floors, has nice seating, and overlooks the market. It is a community place to relax, for people to take their time, meet family and friends, and to take a pause from the chaos of life.”
The café is being refurbished to reflect its surroundings and an artist was commissioned to paint pictures on the walls to reflect Salisbury’s long history.
In the corner, shelves are filled with books to help people to relax.
Dan added: “We want our cafes to feel like we are a part of the community, and sometimes, offer up the space to those within the community.
"In our other stores, we have charity fundraisers including parent and baby mornings, book clubs, and widower clubs.”
Coffee1 officially opens on Friday, November 4 at 9am.
