A ROAD that passes through Quidhampton will remain closed for drainage works during the daytime until next week.
Lower Road through Quidhampton is closed for highway drainage survey and associated works until Tuesday, October 18.
The closure began on Monday, October 10.
According to a formal notice, the road is being closed between 7.30am and 6pm.
Motorists are advised to avoid driving through Quidhampton.
Residents and business owners should be able to get access, albeit potentially with delays. The road should be open outside working hours.

There is access to St John's Place at all times via Lower Bemerton.
There is a 'Road Ahead Closed' sign at the junction of Lower Road and Church Lane in Lower Bemerton.
A formal notice said: "This order will come into operation on 10 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm until 18 October 2022.
"It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works."
