A ROAD in Salisbury was closed by police after a car hit a lamppost and flipped on to its roof.
A man in his 50s was freed by firefighters and taken to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Wilton Road, Salisbury at 11.40am on October 7.
A spokesman from Wiltshire Police said: "We were called at just before 11.45am following a single vehicle RTC on Wilton Road, Salisbury. A man in his 50s has suffered minor injuries."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 11.42am to a road traffic incident in Salisbury. We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and an operations officer and we conveyed one patient to Salisbury District Hospital.”

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Fire Service said: "At 11:42am, two crews from Salisbury were mobilised to and RTC on Wilton Road, Salisbury.
"On arrival firefighters found one car on its roof with one occupant trapped.
"The casualty was released from the vehicle by firefighters and left in the care of the ambulance crew on scene. The stop message came back at 12.25pm and they left the scene shortly after."
