A man was arrested following a hit and run incident on Pembroke Road yesterday morning (September 23).
Wiltshire Police carried out enquires after a car hit a pedestrian and failed to stop at approximately 11.45am yesterday.

A man in his 60s was later arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle which failed to stop after a road accident, failure to report an accident and using a vehicle without insurance.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A man in his 40s was hit by the car and suffered multiple injuries. He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
