A MAN was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car on Pembroke Road in Salisbury.
Wiltshire Police officers were called at 11.45am today (September 23) to the incident following reports that a car had hit a pedestrian.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital to be assessed.
The vehicle that hit the man did not stop at the scene.
One police car was parked outside a house on Pembroke Road and a pavement cordon was put in place.
