THESE four fabulous dogs are looking to find their perfect home.

Ginny, Dot, Polo and Jessie are currently being cared for by the team at Dogs Trust Salisbury.

Ginny

Ginny, a four-year-old German Shepherd Cross Border Collie, is fun and active, and would love an equally fun-loving family.

She can take a little while to warm up to new people but once she does she will become your new best friend and enjoys fuss and attention.

Ginny will need a patient and understanding family as she has spent life living outside before coming to the centre so she will need time to settle into living inside a home environment.

She would benefit from living with another confident dog as a fellow canine companion should help build her confidence. This being said, she thoroughly enjoys her human friends, so she could live as the only pet as long as she could have some dog friends out and about.

Once settled Ginny would benefit from some basic training. She is a fast learner and very keen to engage in training. She would need an adult-only home.

Salisbury Journal:

Dot

A three-year-old Japanese Spitz Cross, Dot has not had the best start in life and is hoping for a brighter future with a truly loving, understanding and dedicated family.

She adores food, so it is a great way to help build a bond with her and help out with her training.

Dot would really like a calm and quiet, adult-only home, with her own secure garden that she can relax and enjoy. She is not very well socialised with other dogs and can be worried by them, so she would be best suited to being the only pet in the home.

Polo

Polo, a two-year-old German Shepherd Cross, is a water dog. He adores water so much; he will happily just lay down in a paddling pool and enjoy the cool water.

He’s an extremely intelligent boy, who thrives when using his brain – he's even learnt how to put his toys back into his toy box once he’s finished playing.

Although Polo can appear very outgoing, he does have a shy and sensitive side, so will need a calm home environment he can easily settle in to.

He has a great personality and enjoys the company of his favourite people. He needs a relaxing home environment, an adult-only home with a maximum of two people.

Polo would like a home with a large, secure garden and his absolute dream home would have a large secure paddock or field to have off lead exercise in.

Jessie

Jessie is five-year-old English Bull Terrier who is patiently waiting to start the next chapter in her life.

Her history is largely unknown, but Dogs Trust Salisbury says she is a real sweetheart who deserves a loving, committed family.

She is extremely excitable and would like an active home family that can keep her both physically and mentally stimulated.

Jessie has been under socialised with other dogs, so would prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can be the main focus of her family.

Jessie is looking for a home with any children aged sixteen and over and would love a secure garden.
