LAST month, we set a challenge for the Salisbury Journal Camera Club which was to bring a sense of nostalgia to their photos. 

Photographers could use black and white, colour, landscape, portrait or abstract. The only limit was their imagination. 

As always, they did not disappoint and it was difficult to make a decision.

After much consideration, the staff at the Salisbury Journal decided that the overall winner was the photo by Carol Byrne.

We chose seven other runner-up photos and these are published in no particular order. 

Huge congratulations to all our photographers. A new theme will be announced later today.
