Q: Apart from being able to ride, what skills do you need?
A: It helps to have a good sense of balance, to be physically fit, have good peripheral vision, be very confident and brave. You also have to be mechanically minded. Q: What have you achieved so far?
A: My main achievements are twice British 125cc champion, twice European 125cc champion, third in the world junior championship, and twice Welsh two-day champion. Q: Describe your training.
A: You have to try to be a 100 per cent physically fit throughout the entire season. I swim, run, cycle, go to the gym, but most important is to train on the motorbike. I train for stamina twice a week and always try to ride the bike midweek. Q: What about diet?
A: I don't have a specific diet: I try to eat healthily and before important races I try to take on a lot of carbohydrates and fluid. (water)Q: What are the risks?
