Who is the person in the yellow hat?
The image was captured when the This Too Will Pass artwork was installed in High Street in Salisbury and also features on the cover of the book “thoughts, words & dreams”.
The team behind the project are eager to find out who the person in the yellow hat is and what they wrote on the wall.
The “thoughts, words and dreams” exhibition, which ran last month, at the Vanner Gallery brought together local artist Tim Scrace and his recent sculpture THIS TOO WILL PASS, with an anthology of photographs from Salisbury-based homeless charity Alabaré depicting the theme THIS IS MY HOPE.
The exhibition raised more than £1,000 for Salisbury-based charity Alabaré and will also be used to create a community fund to make art and architecture more accessible.
Having sold more than 40 books plus prints and paintings the team are on course to establish a small pot to enable workshops and artwork.
Hard back copies of the book of “thoughts, words and dreams” can be bought online at timscrace.com/book or in person at Regent Tailoring, Fisherton Mill and The Rocketship bookshop.
Fifty per cent of profits are going to Alabaré and the other half to the community fund.
If you have a yellow hat and were snapped writing on the YOU ARE HERE board on at 11.27 on May 22, 2021 get in touch via scracearchitects.co.uk/contact to win a copy of the book, a framed print and bottle of bubbly.
