RESIDENTS in Salisbury can play their part in shaping the future of the city.
Salisbury City Council has launched an online consultation as part of work to produce a neighbourhood plan.
Work on the neighbourhood plan has involved the city council and volunteers from the community who have been meeting since 2018.
The council said: “We aim to protect what’s good, identify the things we’re missing, and avoid harmful developments in future. So the plan covers topics like planting more trees, protecting and improving our green spaces and rivers, affordable housing for our young people and for older people who need safe places to live, improving air quality and supporting our essential services such as the NHS and our post offices. In fact, it touches almost every aspect of our daily lives.”
The consultation documents are available online and also at the Guildhall and Salisbury Library where printed copies of the documents can be viewed.
There will also be a chance to speak to the team at Salisbury Charter Market on August 9 and September 6.
