Dogs Trust Salisbury is searching for forever homes for four of its residents.

Cheeky, Josh, Maisey and Toby, have stolen the hearts of everyone at the rehoming centre in Newton Tony but staff want to see them finally find their happy endings.

Cheeky

Cheeky is a 11-year-old Jack Russell terrier and lives up to his name. Although he may be advancing in years, he still loves to be outside exploring, and heading out on new adventures.

He is a big foodie, and is a super smart boy who happily engages in training in return for a tasty treat.

Cheeky has several dog walking friends and would love to make more canine companions when out on walks in his new home, he does however prefer to have all the attention to himself at home, so he would like to be the only pet.

He would be best suited to an adult-only home, ideally with a family who have experience or knowledge of dog ownership.

Cheeky's training will need to be continued in the home, due to this, potential owners will need to live approximately an hour away from centre.

Cheeky would make a wonderful addition to a home with a family who can show him how great life can be.

Josh

The 11-year-old border collie cross is a real sweetheart, who is hoping to find a quiet retirement home.

He is calm natured and would suit a relaxed home environment.

Josh has recently become an ‘office dog’ at the centre, where he happily settles by the feet of the staff and is very content with just having company.

He would be an ideal companion for someone working from home.

Josh loves exploring outside, and he would love a quiet garden to potter around in, as he much prefers a garden to going out for walks.

He doesn't play with toys often, but he does have a favourite monkey toy called Marv, which he would like to take to his new home.

He would be best suited to an adult only home with a maximum of two people and would like someone to be at home most of the time.

He has started some training which his new family will need to continue.

Josh is a very endearing character and although it takes time and patience to get to know him, he will make you feel privileged to be his friend.

Maisey

Two-year-old Siberian Husky Maisey is very active, loves her walks and has very high energy levels, so would love a family who can keep up with her.

She is pretty independent and does like to do her own thing, so she would benefit from a new family who have breed knowledge or experience.

Maisey loves to have lots of space to run and play and would love to have her own garden at home.

She would be best suited to an adult-only home, with a family who are willing to continue working on her dog socialisation.

Maisey can feel a little overwhelmed at times, so needs an understanding family who can provide her with just as much love as she will give back.

She would love to be the focus of the family and be the only pet in the home.

Toby

The six-year-old Labrador cross is a playful boy, who will no doubt keep his new family entertained.

He loves a game of fetch and will happily bring toys back, so you play with him.

He is a real water dog and enjoys splashing around in water. After a busy day of playing, he likes to settle down with a chew on his bed and have a good old snooze.

Toby would adore his own garden where he can play to his heart's content.

He is looking for a quiet adult-only home where he can build his confidence. He can be worried by new people and new situations, so would need a patient and understanding family, who can show him new things aren’t always scary.
