A LANE closure was in place on the A31 after a vehicle fire near Picket Post.
The closure was on the A31 westbound between the M27 and A338 near Ringwood. The lane closure was lifted by around 7.20pm.

Firefighters from Ringwood were called to the scene with support provided by firefighters from Ferndown. The fire was reported just after 2pm this afternoon (Wednesday, August 3).
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Ringwood and one from DWFRS have been called to a vehicle fire which has spread to the undergrowth beside the road on the A31 westbound carriageway.
"Firefighters were alerted to blaze near to Picket Post at 2.04 this afternoon.
"A water carrier from Fareham was stood down before it arrived as it was no longer required on scene.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher to stop the fire.
"Crews returned to station following the stop message at 3.01pm."

Police also attended the incident. In a Tweet, Hampshire Roads Policing Unit said: "Thankfully all occupants managed to escape uninjured and made their way to safety."
