Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences in Fordingbridge.
The arrests come after officers went to an address on Waverley Road yesterday (Thursday, July 28) at around 3.20pm in relation to an unrelated matter.
While trying to speak with the occupants of the house, an officer saw a bag being placed on the top of a roof via an upstairs window
But during this a quantity of Class B drugs contained within a smaller bag ended up falling next to the officer.
A search of the property was then carried out and drug-related paraphernalia along with mobile devices were found and seized.
A 26-year-old man from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
A 54-year-old woman from Fordingbridge was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and permitting the use of premises for supply of a Class B drug.
Hampshire Constabulary says the man and woman remain in custody at this time.
