CASES heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates courts:
DAVID WHITTEN, aged 57, of Spiders Island, Alderbury, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Salisbury on June 13, 2022. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay compensation of £75, a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.
ADAM NEIL CROMBIE, aged 36, of Ballymena Way, Bulford Barracks, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On June 24, 2022, Crombie was recorded driving a Seat Ibiza along Tidworth Road, Bulford, with 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He did not have the appropriate policy of insurance. He was fined £403 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £161 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
TODD BENJAMIN PARKER, aged 31, of Rectory Place, Weyhill, indicated a plea of guilty to driving dangerously. The incident was recorded along Castle Street in Salisbury on January 8, 2022. Parker then failed to stop the Mazda when required to do so by a constable. He was committed to prison for 14 weeks suspended for 18 months. The custodial sentence was given due to Parker’s “prolonged bad driving risk to self, passengers and the public”. If Parker reoffends during this period he could be sent to prison. He must have treatment for drug dependency, and must attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and costs of £85. He was banned from the road for 19 months.
JADE MARIE STANLEY, aged 28, of St Michael’s Road, Bemerton Heath, was found guilty of intentionally damaging six double glazed windows on October 15, 2021. Without good reason or lawful authority, Stanley had an axe in a public place. Stanley was ordered to have mental health treatment, and she must attend appointments and activities as instructed by an officer. She was fined £300 and was ordered to pay compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £95.
JAMES ROBERT WOOD, aged 31, of Broomfield Drive, Alderholt, pleaded guilty to stealing £73 worth of alcohol from The Co-op in Downton on May 13, 2022. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and was ordered to pay compensation of £73. Heard at a separate hearing, Wood pleaded guilty to driving a BMW while disqualified and without the appropriate insurance in Downton on July 6. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a quantity of cannabis. Wood was fined a further £600 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120 and costs of £40.
JAMES RICHARD FARMER, aged 27, of Spracklands, Dinton, pleaded guilty to remaining on a premises in Salisbury, despite a closure order in force, on July 1, 2022. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a quantity of cannabis. Farmer was discharged conditionally for six months. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85. The defendant’s time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.
RUPON MIAH, aged 45, of Barnard Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol from Salisbury’s Tesco, to the value of £114, on March 23, 2022. Miah was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
MARCIN PIOTR MILCZAREK, aged 44, of Groundwell Road, Swindon, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit in Allington. On July 3, 2022, Milczarek was recorded driving a BMW along the A338 with 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £300 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
JORDAN OWEN BRADLEY, aged 23, of Woodbury Yard, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk in Salisbury City Centre on July 3, 2022. He indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting two police officers by beating. Bradley must abstain from consuming any alcohol for 120 days, and he must attend appointments and activities as instructed by an officer. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85.
TIRA NICOLE COOPER, aged 31, of Odstock Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to stealing from Aldi on December 23, 2021. Cooper was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £40.
TATENDA SAUL MUSHANDU, aged 36, of Maple Way, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to possessing 1.97g of cannabis on May 4, 2022. Mushandu was discharged conditionally for 12 months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £40.
THE OLD NURSERY, Mere, was in breach of an enforcement notice issued on September 29, 2020, because of unauthorised use of the land. Items had not been removed from the site by March 12, 2021. LUKE MERRYDEW, owner of land situated at Old Nurseries, was fined £300 and was ordered to pay costs of £864 and a victim surcharge of £34.
