FUN for ages awaits at the Wessex Country Fair next weekend.
The event, which raises money for Salisbury Hospice Charity, is being held on the Wilton House Estate on Saturday, August 6.
And for the first time the fair will include an evening of entertainment with headliners The Wurzels.
The main arena will welcome local community groups with demonstrations and performances, in addition to falconry shows and sheep dog acts.
The music stage will be live from midday to 10pm, offering a variety of country, blues, jazz and folk music to keep everyone entertained.
There will also be craft demonstrations, a dog show, as well as old favourites the steam and vehicle exhibits.
Children’s attractions to include a fairground, donkey rides and competition.
To compliment the vehicle exhibits, a new feature for this year will be a “Show and Shine” for camper vans, which will allow visitors the opportunity to check out some features of these fabulous vehicles.
The event is organised by Salisbury Hospice Charity and the proceeds will fund the vital care the charity provides.
In the Hospice Village visitors can drop in for some calm and respite with a massage or a manicure,or enjoy some quiet creative time, rest in the seating area, or just dwell in the beautiful surroundings of the Wilton Estate.
There will also be a food court and two bars available.
