Under Old Sarum Hotels Ltd., it is not yet known what will happen to these two popular spots.
Between its closure date however, July 15, and Friday, July 22, entry was forced into the store room of The Old Mill, and a number of bottles of alcohol were stolen.
Following the burglary, police said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220077008."
The closure sign, in the window of both venues, reads: "Sincere apologies, but this pub will be closed until further notice.
"No cash or stock has been left on site.
"Staff will remain in accommodation during closure period."
