FIRE crews from Dorset and Hampshire spent over four hours tackling a blaze at a farm in Fordingbridge on Sunday night.
Over 30 firefighters from Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Burley, Cranborne, Beaulieu, Havant and Eastleigh were called to East Mill Farm, Southampton Road, just after 5pm to a fire in a two-storey barn containing 300 bales of hay.
Eighty per cent of the contents of the barn were destroyed but fire fighters worked until past 9.30pm to save the barn itself, which suffered 20 per cent damage.
No people or animals were hurt in the incident.
