Pensioner Gerald Freeth who triggered a police search after he went missing from Salisbury District Hospital last night, has been found.
A passer-by discovered the 79-year-old lying down in a field near the hospital this morning and informed a nurse, who was walking to work.
Mr Freeth, of Tisbury, is now back at the hospital being treated for exposure.
