The Salisbury Group of Artists (SGA) is getting ready to launch its final themed exhibition of the season.
The group is an active local art group of professional, amateur and beginner artists offering members opportunities to exhibit their artwork and attend painting workshops, life classes, and sketching groups.
It is currently exhibiting work at the Antelope Cafe on Catherine Street.
There is still time to view the second exhibition themed ‘Local Salisbury’ which finishes on July 30.
The last of the three exhibitions over the six month period starts on August 1 and runs for two months.
The exhibition is broadly themed ‘In my mind’ and will feature works by Stephen West along with members of the Friday art group. It will also be supplemented with some works from the SGA Summer Exhibition held in the library.
The SGA is celebrating its exhibition time at the Antelope Cafe with a summer social event on Friday, August 5, from 3.30 to 6pm. This is open to all SGA members, their families and friends.
