A BURGLAR is believed to have been left heavily blood stained after breaking into a shed at The Brambles in London Road Salisbury on Friday night.
It is thought he used a hammer to smash the window of a block of garages and cut himself in the process, suffering a number of injuries. He fled the scene without taking anything from the shed.
Police say the man is white, aged about 26, about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim to medium build and is shaven or bald headed. He was wearing a grey hooded top and light coloured trousers.
