THE latest cases heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates courts:

AARON JOSEPH JEFFREY FERNANDO, aged 32, of Common Vale, Winterslow, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging a Volkswagen Polo, to the value of £376, in Salisbury, on March 2, 2021. Fernando was ordered to pay compensation of £376 and costs of £100.

KAROL KRZYZANOWSKI, aged 46, of New Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention along Church Road, Laverstock, on November 19, 2021. He was fined £246 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

DAVID LOWE, aged 57, of Windsor Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention along the A345, High Post, on October 13, 2021. He was fined £375 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £38 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with seven points.

ANTONIA OJO, aged 36, based at Mooltan Barracks, Tidworth, was found guilty of driving along Solstice Park Avenue in Amesbury while using a mobile phone on November 13, 2021. She was fined £220 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

CLAIRE LOUISE DONNELLY, aged 44, of Cunningham Crescent, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to a string of alcohol thefts in Salisbury. Jointly with MARK ANTHONY DAVIS (his case heard in the crown court), on February 4 and April 22, 2021, Donnelly stole alcohol to the value of more than £700 from various supermarkets. She was ordered to pay compensation of £217, a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £200. She was also ordered to complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer.

SASHA HARFIELD, aged 28, of Matthews Road, Amesbury, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing from supermarkets across Wiltshire. The thefts of alcohol and groceries took place on April 25, and May 17 and 25, 2022, in Swindon and Chippenham. Nearly £2,000 worth of products were stolen. Harfield was ordered to pay compensation of £156, a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. She must complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer.

CLAUDIU GHEORGHE GHIMICI, aged 39, of Pinckneys Way, Durrington, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On December 5, 2021, Ghimici was recorded driving a Ford Focus along Countess Road in Amesbury with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol - the main psychoactive ingredient of cannabis - in his system. He was fined £340 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was banned from the road for 12 months.

PATRICK JAMES SAMUAL BAIRD, aged 57, of Limeway Terrace, Dorking, Surrey, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit in Netheravon. On June 22, 2022, Baird was recorded driving a Fiat Scudo along the A345 with 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a quantity of cannabis. He was fined £225 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and costs of £85. He was banned from driving for 20 months.

HENRY WILLIAM FISHER, aged 40, of Rollestone Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to stealing a pedal cycle, to the value of £170, on February 19, 2022. He also stole from a Tesco store on June 15. Fisher was ordered to pay compensation of £170 and he is under a curfew with electronic monitoring for three months.

CAMERON JAMES ELSTON, aged 22, of Imber Road, Warminster, was found guilty of driving along the A36 in Wylye while exceeding 50mph on November 9, 2021. Elston was driving the Audi Quatro S-Tronic without the appropriate test certificate. He was fined £408 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £41 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from driving for 28 days.

SCOTT ADAM GILDER, aged 35, of Barnard Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging drinking glasses, a wardrobe, legs to a table and a lamp, to the value of around £50, belonging to Alabaré Christian Care Centre on June 4, 2022. Gilder was discharged conditionally for six months, and was ordered to pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £22.
