A new councillor has been elected into Salisbury City Council to represent the Harnham West Ward.
The by-election to replace former city councillor Paul Cunningham took place yesterday (July 14) and the results are now in.

Councillor Eleanor Elisabeth Wills, member of Wiltshire Conservatives, recieved the most public votes and was duly elected to Salisbury City Council.
After winning the by-election, Miss Wills said: “Thank you so much to everyone who voted in the by-election and supported our campaign.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to serve the whole community and make a real difference in Harnham West.
"My priority is to focus on public service over politics to get Salisbury moving. There can be no greater privilege than representing the area you grew up in and I can’t wait to get started."
The by-election results
Miss Wills, Eleanor Elisabeth (The Conservative Party) - 457 votes
Mr Last, Ted (Liberal Democrats) - 424 votes
Mrs Prinsloo, Sarah (Green Party) - 159 votes
Ms Goddard, Anita (Labour Party) - 151 votes
Deputy mayor Atiqul Hoque said: "Great team work, a fantastic candidate. People of west Harnham made the right choice.
"We Conservative are setting the example for others to follow."
Salisbury City Council officers have congratulated Cllr Wills and say they are "looking forward to working with her in the future".
