HORATIO’S Garden in Salisbury is welcoming visitors for an open day tomorrow (Sunday, July 17).
This will be the first time the garden has been open to visitors in support of the National Garden Scheme since 2019.
The garden is located at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at Salisbury District Hospital and will be open on Sunday, July 17 from 2pm to 5pm.
There will homemade tea and cake available in the garden room, with all refreshments in aid of Horatio’s Garden.
The garden has been designed by six-time RHS Chelsea Gold Medal Winner, Cleve West, Horatio’s Garden South West opened in 2012.
During the open day visitors will have the opportunity to meet both the head gardener, Lucy Thorpe, and the dedicated volunteer team who help to nurture the garden and support people using the sanctuary.
Lucy will be giving a short talk to visitors at 3pm.
Admission costs £5 per adult, while children are welcome for free. Pre-booking is essential. Visit: horatiosgarden.org.uk
