CASES heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates' courts:

GILES THOMAS PREWETT, aged 49, of Riverbourne Road, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to sending a Facebook message when he was prohibited from doing so, due to a restraining order, on June 30, 2022. Prewett was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85.

ORRIN BRINDLEY-NEAL, aged 28, of Wylye Road, Tidworth, indicated a plea of guilty to threatening to disclose a private sexual photograph or film without the consent of those involved, between January 1 and February 17, 2022. Brindley-Neal was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He was ordered to complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer and 100 hours of unpaid work. His phone was seized and a restraining order is in force until July 2023. 

DEBORAH LOUISE SMITH, aged 35, of Kelk Crescent, Tidworth, indicated a plea of guilty to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm upon a person on February 3, 2022. She was ordered to pay compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £95. She was ordered to complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer and 100 hours of unpaid work.

CORINNE CLAIRE BURGWIN, aged 42, of Trinity Street, Salisbury, was found guilty of assaulting another by beating on March 29, 2021. Burgwin was fined £120 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

FRANCIS PATRICK LARMOUR, aged 37, of Essex Square in Harnham, Salisbury, was fined £750 after he admitted breaching his community order, following a driving-related offence in 2020.

DEAN HUGH COCHRANE, aged 41, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing cash, bank cards and a driving licence in Salisbury on February 22, 2022. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100. 

JON MICHAEL BETTY, aged 61, of Windsor Road, Poole, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit in Salisbury. On June 12, 2022, Betty was recorded driving a Volkswagen Golf along Exeter Street with 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £384 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £38 and costs of £85. He was banned from the road for 26 months. 

SELINA LOUISE HOWARD, aged 55, of Blackberry Lane, Potterne, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit in Amesbury. On February 13, 2022, Howard was recorded driving a Volkwagen Tiguan along High Street with 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was fined £200 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. She was banned from driving for 18 months.

TOM JAMES SEYMOUR, aged 52, of Abbatt Close, Ludgershall, indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a locking knife without good reason on March 27, 2022. Seymour was fined £100 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95. He must complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer.

STEPHEN GEORGE HARRISON, aged 39, of Barrington Road, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to sending a letter despite a restraining order in force on July 2, 2022. He was committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months. If Harrison reoffends during this period he could be sent to prison. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and was detained in the courthouse.
