Wiltshire Police and the South Western Ambulance Service were called to an incident in Salisbury on Saturday night (July 9).
A member of the public saw multiple police cars and ambulances on Castle Street Roundabout at 11.30-45pm on Saturday.
Wiltshire Police told the Journal that it appeared a man had fallen down some stairs.
Police initially attended the scene but left after it was deemed to be a medical incident which meant they were no longer required.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: "We were called at 22.37hrs on Saturday 9 July to an incident in Salisbury.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and an air ambulance. We conveyed one patient to Southampton General Hospital by land ambulance."
We will post updates as they come in.
