Emergency services were called to a collision involving two vehicles on the A36 near Landford. 

Firefighters from Salisbury attended the incident on Sunday (July 11) along with the ambulance service. 

A female casualty was cut free using hydraulic cutting equipment. 

The patient was taken by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital. 

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision on Southampton Road, Landford at 3.33pm yesterday.

"Two crews from Salisbury attended, and hydraulic cutting equipment was used to free one female casualty into the care of the ambulance service."

Firefighters left the scene by around 4.50pm. 

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 3.32pm on Sunday, July 10 to a road traffic collision in the Landford area. We sent three double-crewed land ambulances and a rapid response vehicle. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital”.
