THE winners of June’s camera club competition can now be revealed.

Fitting in appropriately with the heatwaves and sunshine we’ve been treated to this month, the Journal’s camera clubbers were challenged to capture a summer feel in their photography.

Judged by the editorial team, first place was awarded to Rob Harris for his photo of Salisbury Cathedral basking in the evening post-work sun.

Rob was praised for how he pictured the whole building, positioned within and complimented by a frame of trees and colours of gold and blue in the sky.

Second place was secured by Derek Jones for his attention to detail and use of powerful colours while celebrating the daisy - a summer staple.
