CASES heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates' courts:

CHLOE LOUISE KEARSE, aged 22, of The Beeches, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating on January 30, 2022. She was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £85.

CAMERON ANDREAS O’MALLY-RICHARDSON, aged 26, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to entering a premises on Carmelite Way in Salisbury on November 15, 2021, despite a closure order in force. He was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. The defendant’s time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.

MACIEJ SZUFNAROWSKI, aged 34, of Devizes Road, Salisbury, was found guilty of causing another person harassment, alarm or distress through racially and religiously aggravated behaviour, taking place between August 29 and September 1, 2020. In the same time window Szufnarowski assaulted a man by beating. He was ordered to pay compensation of £245 and costs of £620, and must receive mental health treatment under the direction of recovery service Turning Point. He must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work.

STEPHANIE MARIE CRUSE, aged 32, of The Wirr, Steeple Langford, pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a constable on duty on December 8, 2021. She was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22.

CRAIG MICHAEL PATTENDEN, aged 42, of Rollestone Street, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a quantity of amphetamine in Melksham on April 22, 2022. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

ALAN RICHARD BERNARD, aged 49, of North Street, Wilton, pleaded guilty to intentionally using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour towards another on April 21, 2022. This charge breached a community order already in force. Bernard was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work and must attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95. His time spent in custody was considered time served.

JACOB LEE MORRIS GILES, aged 22, of Jubilee Close, Bemerton Heath, was found guilty of causing injury and damage while driving. On May 6, 2021, Giles was driving a BMW along Burcombe Lane when an accident caused injury to another person and damage to a vehicle. Following the incident Giles failed to stop. He pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. Following previous offending and the implementation of a court order, Giles failed to turn up to unpaid work and a planned appointment. The defendant was committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for two years. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and costs of £620. He was ordered to complete activities and appointments as instructed by an officer and must undertake 100 hours of unpaid work. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

EMILY LOUISE CORWOOD, aged 34, of West Street, Wilton, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer in Salisbury on April 24, 2022. She was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. The defendant’s time spent in custody was considered time served.

RYAN JOHN KELLY, aged 44, of Chapel Lane, Charlton-All-Saints, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On September 11, 2021, Kelly was recorded driving a transit van along Downton Road, Salisbury, with 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £162 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £975. He was banned from driving for 22 months.

NICHOLAS LESSEY, aged 26, of Northern Terrace, Larkhill, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On April 22, 2022, Lessey was recorded driving along The Packway with 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £280 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was banned from driving for 17 months.

TRACY CARNALL, aged 54, of Hillgreen Road, Longton, was found guilty of driving along the A338 in Tidworth without due care and attention on October 8, 2021. She was fined £440 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £110. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

LOUISA CATHERINE LOCKWOOD, aged 43, of Walmesley Chase, Hilperton, pleaded guilty to using a mobile while driving near Solstice Park, Amesbury, on October 25, 2021. She was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110. She was banned from driving for six months. An application to suspend the driving disqualification was granted pending the hearing of an appeal.

DAVID WILLIAM TURNER, aged 30, of Hindes Meadow, Shrewton, pleaded guilty to driving without the appropriate licence or policy of insurance. The offences were recorded on May 6, 2022, when Turner was caught driving a Ford Fiesta along Mottershead Row in Longhedge. He then failed to provide breath for analysis. Because these were committed during a suspended sentence order, Turner was jailed for 24 weeks. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and has been banned from driving for a further three years.
